New Missionaries and Missionary Associates

New Missionary Training (MT) and Associate Pre-Field Orientation (PFO) took place from June 12 - 24, at Central Bible College in Springfield, MO. MT and PFO included sessions on missionary life, healthy living, cross cultural interaction, preparing itineration sermons, handling emotions, compassionate outreach, and many other practical subjects. The new missionaries and associates had the opportunity to get to know one another, hear each other's stories, and connect with their area directors. And while the adults were being prepared for the field, their children - the MKs - were having their own training in a really fun way that does not include sitting in sessions!

	The Commissioning Service for the Missionary Associates was held June 24 at 7:00pm in the Central Bible College Chapel. Regional Director Mike McClaflin was the speaker. The Commissioning Service for the new Missionaries was held July 1 at 6:30pm at Praise Assembly in Springfield. Dr. Satyavrata was the speaker. This Commissioning Service is the highlight of the year for AGWM and includes a time of prayer and dedication for the new missionaries.
