Missionary-In-Training
The Missionary-In-Training program was specifically developed to
assist young adults, ages 21 – 30, who meet the educational
requirements but lack the ministerial experience to qualify as an
Appointed General missionary. Under the mentorship of a veteran
missionary, the MIT develops his or her ministry, acquires
cross-cultural experience and gains the practical ministry skills that
qualify the MIT for ordination and a lifetime of service as an
Assemblies of God missionary. The MIT qualifications are:
- A licensed Assemblies of God minister. (Learn more)
- A college degree is preferred. (Applicant may be required to complete specific courses in biblical studies.)
- Personal debt may not exceed $100 per month.
- A career call to missions
