Marshall Windsor talks about his ministry abroad
Kigali, Rwanda
Having
had the privilege of teaching and ministering in Africa on several
occasions, I am amazed at how blessed I feel after every assignment.
God stretches me and allows me to see what real sacrifice is in our
ever-changing world – humbling me at what he can do through us if we
would just yield to his leading. Seeing people hungry for the gospel
pack into makeshift buildings, tents, and street corners ignites an
overwhelming passion to share what has made such a difference in my
life.
My last trip was to Kigali, Rwanda this
past summer, shortly after their eleven year anniversary of the
genocide. God is raising up trained leaders for a church that is
exploding. My ability help the hurting and give hope to those hungry
for God created an indescribable feeling that we actually can make a
difference with God’s help. Every assignment stirs a hunger for more,
and I can’t wait for my next trip abroad!
