Medical Professionals Insurance
Liability insurance coverage is available for medical professionals going on missions trips. The team leader should contact the missionary you will be working with to see if they recommend this optional coverage. Medical professionals should also contact their malpractice insurance carriers to find out if their coverage is in affect while they are traveling (if someone on an airplane or in an international airport requires medical attention) and practicing medicine overseas. Legal suits can be filed anywhere in the world including the U.S.
